    When I was little, I once told my mom that I felt that she and my dad were bad parents, I never know why I said it, I think I was influenced by the stereotypes of good parents that existed and still remain.   My best vacation was in February 2021, I traveled to chiloe, an island that is in the tenth region . I traveled by bus, the trip lasted 16 hours. I went with my two best friends, their names are Rocio and Paulina.   We visited many beautiful places, the weather was exquisite, my favorite place was the tocoihue waterfall, there was a lot of biodiversity and the water was exquisite. We did activities such as trekking, went for a walk, swam on the beach near the house and ate everything we wanted. At night we played cards, drank while listening to music and before going to sleep we watched chapters of a program called "mea culpa".   I would like to travel to Canada because it is a very beautiful country, with many natural wonders and where there is a lot of work in the field of forestry, which is what I am studying.   I know that to be able to travel you need to get a work or study visa, in addition to having a passport and that it has a relatively low cost of living, in addition to a great cultural diversity, according to statistics it isa very safe country with a public and efficient health system. Two languages are also used, English and French   I would like to have an exchange to visit the country and be able to evaluate what job opportunity I could have and what is required to be able to live in the country. I would also love to be able to go and tour its sights, such as Niagara Falls, or visit prince Edward island where the Anne with an e series was filmed.

  Hi everyone, the truth this semester has made me quite tedious, however, I had the opportunity to be in a subject called "carbon footprint", I will not deny that at first I chose it because I needed to meet credits and it was the only one that caught my attention, but since I had the first class I knew I had made a good decision. I have really enjoyed it because professor magda has made us feel in a family atmosphere. Also, I have learned how simple it can be to have a more environmentally sustainable life. There was a semester period where magda did a survey to measure our carbon footprint, it was amazing to see how it increased for actions that clearly weren't necessary in my life, but I did it for some reason... which I don't have a good justification for. I was able to become more aware of my responsibility to the planet, besides, I have managed to make radical decisions in my life to which I previously felt incapable.

The truth is, I still do not know very well the teachers in my field, so I do not admire any one in particular, but I do admire a lot my former school teacher, her name is tania faundez and I appreciate her very much because she was very important in my academic and personal training. At first I didn't love her so much because she was very strict, but when I began to notice my change in performance, I understood her methodology.  She is a professor of chemistry and biology at the liceo 7 of providencia and is head of the department of science, studied at the metropolitan university of educational sciences. I don't know so much about her private life, but she always told us that she got up at 5 am to take her little dog for a walk before going to work. And she always wore high heels and good outfits

 My major is forest engineering, and my career can give me tools to contribute positively to the environment, to biodiversity and to our natural resources, because the main focus is the forest area, specifically native forests and forest plantations. This implies the conservation of these areas, or having a good management plan, and at this time is of great importance because forests are the terrestrial ecosystems that capture the most carbon, and one of the biggest problems today is co2 emissions.  I see myself in the future, as a professional who manages the reforestation, because it is necessary to increase the amount of green lungs in the country and in the world in general, it is our responsibility to remedy the damage that we have already caused to the planet in our existence. This image is very significant to me, because it represents the peace I felt when I went to visit that reserve. We were on a trip in the magallanes region, just before I entered university, and it was a time when I had a lot of doubts as to how I felt, what I wanted, in this new stage that was about to begin.   That day I told my sisters and my dad that I wanted to walk and feel calm, because the whole context in Santiago had exhausted me, we looked at Google maps, and I found this beautiful place, it was very close, we ordered a uber and we left, it was a very long walk, although I was accompanied, I walked many hours alone, thinking about everything and at times left my mind blank and contemplated nature, smells, enjoyed the exquisite wind. And I looked intently to see if I could see a puma hahaha
